Radhika Merchant Ambani, the daughter-in-law of Mukesh Ambani– Asia’s richest man– and wife of Mukesh’s younger son, Anant Ambani, is among the top 10 most searched persons in India in 2014, according to Google. Radhika Merchant is ranked 8th in the Google’s Most Searched Person 2024 list, which is topped by Olympic wrestler-turned-politician, Vinesh Phogat.
Globally, incoming US President-elect Donald Trump, was the most searched person on the planet in 2024, followed by Catherine, the Princess of Wales, and Kamala Harris, Trump’s Democratic opponent in the recently-concluded US Presidential Elections, in the 3rd spot.
Meanwhile, Radhika Merchant, who came to the limelight thanks to her opulent $600 million (around Rs 5,000 crore) wedding to Mukesh Ambani’s youngest son, Anant Ambani in July this year, was the 8th most searched person in India, while star wrestler-turned-politician, Vinesh Phogat, was the most googled person in the country, followed by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, and Union Minister Chirag Paswan, in the 2nd and 3rd spots, respectively.
Meanwhile, incoming US President Donald Trump was the most searched person globally. Other notable names in the list include, Trump’s deputy JD Vance, Mike Tyson, and disgraced rapper and musician, Diddy.
