After Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya and Vivek Dahiya’s participation in Nach Baliye 8, yet another telly couple is all set to show their dance moves. Actress Sanaya Irani and her husband Mohit Sehgal recently confirmed their participation on the upcoming season of Nach Baliye on Star Plus. The hot Miley Jab Hum Tum couple will soon be seen on the dance reality show! According to Tellychakkar.com, “Sanaya and Mohit need a good comeback vehicle on television, and Nach Baliye fits the bill perfectly. The two have given the nod and are gearing up to win this season.” Mohit has confirmed the news of their participation on Nach Baliye 8 by saying, “Yes, we are doing the show.”
“Initially, we weren’t doing Nach Baliye 8 because we didn’t have enough dates. But then things fell into place and we got a few dates. As we were keen on participating on the show, we thought let’s go with it…. I think we are the last couple to come on board,” Sanaya Irani told The Indian Express. It seems as Sanaya is quiet worried about their performance. “I don’t know how we will manage. Other couples have been rehearsing for weeks now. I haven’t even started yet…. Mohit has, however, begun rehearsing. Hopefully, we will be able to put up a good show,” the actress revealed. Sanaya even said that her husband Mohit is a non-dancer. “Mohit is a total non-dancer. He doesn’t know how to dance. Even I am not a great dancer but in front of him, I look good. Sanaya Irani shared a picture from Nach Baliye 8 promo shoot on her Instagram and wrote, “Trying to dance or trying to pose we have no idea , but man do we look good together . Get ready guys for Nach Baliye 8 💃💃💃 #NachBaliye8 @starplus.” Take a look!
Mohit started rehearsals, but Sanaya is missing from them. The actor said that his wife is nervous about Nach Baliye 8. Sanaya was earlier seen in Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 8 on Colors channel. Initially, the two could not do the show as Sanaya was doing Meenu Mausi on Star Plus. But the show has been put on hold, and now the two have time for the rehearsals. Mohit and Sanaya met in the series Miley Jab Hum Tum and fell for each other. The two dated for eight years and last year got married in Goa on January 25, 2016.
In an earlier interview with Hindustan Times, Mohit had said, “I don’t feel any difference post marriage. The only thing that has changed is that before we used to go to our respective places after meeting, while now I can see my wife all the time.”
On the work front, Sanaya was last seen on Rangrasiya, and Mohit was seen in Sarojini. Nach Baliye 8 will be hosted by Yeh Hai Mohabbatein actor Karan Patel along with actor Karan Tacker. The makers of Nach Baliye 8 have finalised the judges – actress Sonakshi Sinha, director Mohit Suri and choreographers Saroj Khan and Terence Lewis.
