New Honda Civic Type R showcased at Geneva Motor Show

Honda's new Civic Type R is a revelation for the sports car enthusiast on a budget.

Honda has revealed their all-new Honda Civic Type R at the Geneva Motor Show. It looks sharper, meaner and sleeker from every angle with a curved hatch which completes the complete change in aesthetics for the popular performance vehicle. The front has a lot of resemblance to the new Honda Civic Sport model with the new headlights, sporty bumper among other new features. Honda has added a new front lip which promises to reduce instability at high speeds by channeling the air around the front wheels. Honda boss Takanobu Ito had claimed that Honda will make the fastest front whell-drive production hatchback at the Nurburgring. That has not been heard again but the new Type R seems to a step by Honda in that direction. [Read: McLaren unveil new car powered by Honda’s MP4-30]
