On Camera: AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan’s Son Beats Up Staff At Noida Petrol Pump; Probe On

AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan's son allegedly assaulted the staff of a petrol pump in Noida, while the politician allegedly threatened them later.

The Noida Police has registered a case against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Amanatullah Khan and his son, after Khan’s son thrashed staffers of a petrol pump in Noida, while the politician later allegedly threatened them following the altercation.

Both incidents were captured on CCTV cameras installed at the refuelling station in Noida Sector-95, showing the AAP MLA’s son assaulting the petrol pump staff in one clip, while the AAP leader is seen talking to some policemen at the fuel pump after the incident involving his son.

One CCTV clip shows Amanatullah’s son thrashing staffers at the petrol pump where he had arrived to refuel his car. While in the other clip, Amanatullah is seen speaking to some police officers inside the fuel station.

A complaint was lodged by Vinod Pratap Singh, a staffer at the petrol pump located at Noida Sector-95, alleging that the MLA’s son assaulted him and other staffers after they turned down his demand to fill up his car first.

Singh also alleged that the AAP MLA later arrived at the fuel station and threatened the staffers and management.

Based on his complaint, police said an FIR has been registered against Amanatullah Khan and his son under sections 323, 504, 506, and 427 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC)

“We received information that Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Delhi MLA Amanatullah Khan’s son thrashed the employees at the petrol pump. A case has been registered against the father-s0n duo and action will be taken,” Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Manish Mishra told news agency ANI.

Citing the complaint, Mishra said the MLA son broke the queue for fuel and asked the staffers to fuel up his car first. The staffers refused to oblige after which he assaulted them. Later, Khan arrived at the station and threatened people, the officer said, adding that further investigation in the case is underway.
