The much-awaited OnePlus 3 is set to be launched today. The grand launch event of OnePlus 3 will be held in virtual reality via a virtual space station called ‘The Loop’. Certain features of the OnePlus 3 have be revealed by the company by its teaser. The device was shown as a candy-bar shape with sharper corners. The flagship smartphone is expected to come in six different variants. The smartphone is expected to run on latest Snapdragon 820 SoC (System-on-Chip) backed by Adreno 530 graphics engine. Three versions of OnePlus 3 will come with 4GB RAM coupled with 32GB, 64GB, and 128 GB storage space. There will also be a 6GB RAM version with the same 32GB, 64GB, 128GB storage space options. The previous smartphones launched by the company were limited storage option up to 64GB. It is likely that the new OnePlus 3 will run Android’s latest v6.0.1 mobile OS. The camera is believed to come with 16 Mp main camera with LED flash and 8 MP front camera. The phone is expected to have a 3000mAh battery. The OnePlus 3 will be available on open sale from the day one as the company has finally bid adieu to its invite-only system. It remains to be seen whether the OnePlus 3 goes on sale in India on the same day or not.
