The quest to post the perfect picture and gain attention on social media has caused disasters in the past. With the advent of selfies, social media became a place to showcase one’s personal life easily. And then comes Photoshop which adds fake glitter making everything look out of the world. An Instagram user ‘Pilotganso’ is quite popular in the social media for the pictures he frequently updates on his page. While the pilot has thousands of following his recent pictures have gone viral with social media users questioning its authenticity. In his recent pictures, the pilot appears to be leaning out of the cockpit in mid-air clicking selfies. The pictures show the pilot taking photos above Palm Islands in Dubai.
Another picture shows his poking his head out of the window and giving thumbs with New York city far in the background. While it is known that such a stunt is impossible on a flight mid-air, many Instagram users appeared to be worried about the pilot’s safety. Many commented on his pictures advising him not to be so risky and that it could prove dangerous. While some commented saying that the pictures are fake and photoshopped, many begged to differ. The pilot has however been posting the pictures suggesting that he has been using his photoshop skills. One of the caption on his pictures read, ‘I have to let you know that photo is fake guys, just in case’ while another one says, ‘Photoshop monde ON’.

A comment on one of his pictures read, “Why do you act so dangerous? You might risk falling off and endangering all the passengers!” While another Instagram user writes, “Wow… did that not scare you?” Some even asked if his company policy allows him to hang out of plane mid-air, it reads, “This can’t be real? Don’t your company have policies about this kind of stuff? It just looks dangerous.”
