Success is not the only thing Ranveer Singh is riding on in style these days. During the filming of Yash Raj films’ much awaited romantic action thriller Kill Dil, the Ram Leela actor successfully managed tame to a temperamental horse, Toofan while filming a segment of the film. Ranveer claimed that he turned up set two hours before the day’s shoot, just to familiarise himself with Toofan and it was, in fact, Ranveer who came to the rescue with his newly acquired horse-riding skills when hell threatened to break loose while canning a shot.
While filming an intimate shot on the horseback with actress Parineeti Chopra, the horse went out of control and threatened to run away with the lead couple from the set. That is when Ranveer stepped in manage to calm the animal, much to the relief of the unit. Speaking on his co-star’s discomfort while sitting on the horse, Ranveer said, “Parineeti was petrified from the time she sat on the horse and Toofan could sense her nervousness.”
Kill Dil is set to hit screens on November 14 and it has a big star cast with Govinda making a comeback to silver screen as a dreaded but lovable gangster with Ranveer and Ali Zafar playing his protégés. After her debut film, Ladies vs Ricky Bahl, Parineeti reunites with Ranveer in the film, which is directed by Shaad Ali, who makes a comeback after a seven year hiatus.
