RJD announces Sanjay Yadav’s candidature for Godda bypoll

RJD leader and Rajya Sabha member Prem Chand Gupta told reporters here that party chief Lalu Prasad decided to field Yadav, who had finished second in the 2014 assembly elections.

Ranchi, February 28: RJD today announced former MLA Sanjay Yadav’s candidature for bypoll to Godda Assembly seat, which fell vacant after the death of BJP MLA Raghunand Mandal on January 4 this year.

The schedule of the Assembly bypoll is yet to be announced.(ALSO READ: RJD suspends legislator on rape charges).
