Grammy Award winner Ricky Kej alleged that a Zomato delivery guy trespassed his Bengaluru home and stole a sump cover.

Grammy Winner Ricky Kej ‘Robbed’: Grammy Award winner Ricky Kej has recently alleged a robbery at his Bengaluru residence. He took to Instagram and shared the incident, stating that a Zomato delivery agent trespassed into his home and lifted a sump cover. He alleged that the ‘Zomato Delivery Agent’ first came for a recce and then directly trespassed, lifted the sump cover and fled the scene. Let’s know more about the incident.

What Did Ricky Kej Say About The Robbery?

Grammy Award shared a post on Instagram and said, “I was robbed! Dear @zomato, @zomatocare, looks like one of your drivers entered my home on Thursday and stole our sump cover. This was at 6 o’clock in the evening. Quite bold of them! This is probably not their first time. They came in just 15 min earlier for a recce and then trespassed and committed the crime.”

He shared videos and screenshots in which the accused man can be seen hiding his face under in a helmet. He then lifts the sump cover and left the house. In one of the screenshots, the accused vehicle and number plate are visible.

“You can see the CCTV footage from 2 angles. Also screenshots of his face and the number plate. The number appears to be KA03HY8751? on a red Honda Activa. Possible for you or the @BlrCityPolice to provide assistance, as to who this person is? Also, people, be vigilant. This can happen to you too!,” he further said.

The online food delivery platform has responded to Kej’s complaint. The company took to X and termed it unfortunate.

Ricky was born in North Carolina, United States. In the year 1981, he returned to India and started living in Bengaluru.  He completed his bachelor’s degree in dentistry from Bengaluru’s Oxford Dental College.
