I had to get measured so many times. All my life I have had people looking at me in the street. In Russia they don’t ask for pictures or anything, they just stay silent and stare. It can be funny when you are sitting and someone comes up to you and doesn’t expect you to be so tall, then I stand up and I can see the reaction on their faces.” She also spoke about being bullied in school for her height. She also said, “When I was growing up I had to wear men’s shoes to fit my size 14 feet. It was horrible, I would find the most feminine-looking shoes I could. I never wore heels.”

However, Ekaterina doesn’t count her legs among her achievements. She has also been officially recognised as having the biggest feet of any woman in Russia with a European size 47, or a UK size 12. Her record breaking legs
measure 132.8 cm (52.2 in) long for the left leg, and 132.2 cm (52.0 in) long for the right leg.
