From wearing a coronavirus-themed helmet to painting streets, police officers in India have gotten pretty creative in order to spread awareness about the deadly virus and urging people to stay home during the 21-day lockdown. Now, a new video has emerged on the internet where a policeman named Abhinav Upadhyay is seen singing a song, giving a corona-themed twist to the classic Bollywood melody ‘Ek Pyar ka Nagma Hai’. The video was shared by ANI with the caption, “#WATCH Chhattisgarh: A policeman, Abhinav Upadhyay sings a song to spread awareness about #COVID19 in a residential area of Civil Lines in Bilaspur. A woman had tested positive for the disease in the city after returning from Saudi Arabia. There are 7 COVID-19 cases in state.”

You won’t be able to stop yourself from singing along with him, here are the lyrics:

Ghar main hi rehna hai. Bahar nahi jana hai. Khud ki raksha karte hue auro ko bachana hai. Sanitiser lagana hai, hath dhoke hi jana hai, milke ab humko, corona ko harana hai. (We have to stay in the house. We don’t have to go out. We have to save ourselves and save others. We have to use sanitisers and wash hands. We have to defeat the novel coronavirus together.)”

Well, seeing a policeman break into a song clearly grabbed eyeballs and people in the neighbourhood also decided to sing along with him, as seen in the video.
