Seattle’s famous gum wall is set to be cleaned after 20 years. This video shows how a wall full of chewing gum stuck by millions of people outside a theatre in Pike Place Market, Seattle, USA, is all set to get a good scrub! The wall has been cleaned before to stop the gum from spreading to the streets, but this time, it’s going to be removed entirely to reveal the original state of the gum wall.
The gum wall phenomenon started 20 years ago when hordes of people were waiting to get inside a theatre. Since then, hundreds have come and placed their chewed gums on the wall. Now, it’s a tourist place.
