Morgan King is a single mom. She has an infant daughter. She is also a college student. Raising a child while studying in college is difficult, especially childcare is not available. Morgan King can’t take care of her child and attend class all at the same time. That’s what happened to Morgan King, but when she explained her predicament of why she had to miss classes to her professor, she never could have expected the response that she received. Her professor, Sally Hunter noticed her absence and emailed her about her skipping class but instead of berating her she was very understanding. She actually told Morgan that she should bring her daughter, Korbyn to class if she did not get childcare and she would be willing and happy to hold the child while she taught the class. Her heartwarming email is rocking the internet.

Morgan King who is 21-years-old is studying Therapeutic Recreation at the University of Tennessee and is a proud single mother to daughter Korbyn. She works nights at a restaurant to support herself and her baby. When she missed class on June 14, 2017 which included an assignment and a quiz her, she wrote an apology for her absence to her professor, Sally Hunter. The reply that she received from her professor was so genuinely heartwarming that Morgan King couldn’t help sharing it on Twitter and since then it has steadily gone viral. Dr. Sally B.
