The deadly pandemic COVID-19 has created a storm all over the world and people have taken to self-quarantine in order to avoid further spreading of the virus. Today, March 22, people are especially staying home and are following PM Narendra Modi’s request for ‘Janata Curfew’. Now, leader Smriti Irani came up with #TwitterAntakshari to create an entertaining environment amid all the stress and boredom. Soon, she was flooded with tweets and many shared the songs that fit in the quarantine situation. The hashtag #TwitterAntakshari took the spot of top trends on Twitter. However, it was Karan Johar who grabbed the attention of Smriti but for all the wrong reasons. He suggested ‘ Lag Jaa Gale’ and was soon corrected by her and other netizens that the song does not fit the current situation.
Karan tweeted, “Helloji! Antakshari is my favourite time pass activity! To main Zaroor contribute karna chahoonga…with my favourite song. Lag ja gale …ke phir ye haseen raat ho na ho…Shayad phir is janam mein mulakat ho na ho……ab aapki bari!!!!”
Smriti was quick to reply and wrote, “Lag jaa gale is the wrong song during #corona.”

Talking abour COVID-19, at present, there are over 324 active cases in India. To contain the rapid spread of the virus, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had called for a Janata Curfew on Sunday.
