Sridevi’s Die-Hard Fan Considers Her As His Wife, Shaves Head On Her Death

He became her fan since the day he saw Sridevi's first movie.

The untimely demise of Sridevi shocked the whole nation and the void she created will never get filled. All her fans are still heartbroken and mourning over her death. Many fans from across India participated in the funeral which took place in Mumbai. Her fans queued up for many hours just to catch the glimpse of her. But one fan named Omprakash Mehra got affected the most it seems. Omprakash who hails from Sheopur, Madhya Pradesh has always been single as he wanted to marry Sridevi. He was deeply immersed in Sridevi’s love and even shaved his head on her death. After learning Sridevi’s sudden demise, this man stopped drinking and eating and even considered Sridevi as his wife. He organized a Shradhanjali Sabha as well in the school of Daduni village in the memory of the late actress.

In the shok sabha, Sridevi’s picture with garland was installed and the whole stage was covered with flowers. He wrote three thousand plus letters to Sridevi but unfortunately, the diehard fan never met her. Another shocking thing is that in the year 2002, he even entered Sridevi’s name as his wife’ name in the voters’ list. And when everybody asked about the same he said that he considers her as wife even knowing that she is married.  One of the friends of Omprakash said, “He never even tonsured his hair when his mother died, but for Sridevi, he has done it.”

He became her fan since the day he saw Sridevi’s first movie and he did get one chance to meet her but failed to go Mumbai to meet her due to some reason. “My friend Omprakash loves Sridevi a lot and he considers her as his wife.
