After showing his motormouth skills on Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 10 show, Swami Om also known as Omji Maharaj, wished to show off his dancing skills on Star Plus’ couple dance reality show Nach Baliye 8! And for that the controversial participant ditched his godman avatar and underwent a massive makeover. A picture of Swami Om went viral on the social media showed him minus his signature tresses and moustache. The shocking transformation of Swami Om is apparently because he wishes to be contestant on Nach Baliye 8, a dance reality TV show aired on Star Plus – without a Baliye (partner)! The photograph shows Swami Om sporting a new undercut hairstyle! The self-proclaimed godman is no more decked up in a bright red outfit with many rudraksha beads adorned as accessories and vermilion applied on his forehead.
The iconography of Swami Om has quite changed from the last time you saw him in the news. The man has chopped his long grey hair to get an in-trend undercut. He has also removed his moustache and opted for a clean shaven look and is seen wearing more modern dressing than what we have seen him don so far. Well, this sudden change brought in Swami Om’s personality is because the controversial turned cool Baba wanted to shake his leg on Nach Baliye 8 stage.
According to the reports, Swami Om approached Nach Baliye 8 makers and expressed his desire to participate on their show as a contestant. Well, he was told that Nach Baliye was a reality TV show for couples. But being a loudmouth crackpot, Swami Om said, “What if I don’t have a Baliye? I can totally dance alone and compete with your other contestants.” Obviously, the deal did not materialize between Swami Om and the channel. Sigh!
The Godman garnered limelight during his stay on COLORS’ reality TV show, Bigg Boss season 10 with his outrageous conduct, which resulted in his ouster from the show. Swami Om made derogatory comments towards female contestants and show’s host and Bollywood superstar, Salman Khan. On the show, Swami Om had expressed his desire to get into acting on several occasions. The man with motormouth and self-proclaimed divine powers had also claimed of becoming world’s biggest villain and as well as a biopic being made in Hollywood! Well, with his new look, we think Swami Om has lost out on real life role of fake spiritual godman.
