Thappad Twitter Reactions: Movie Goers Are Left Impressed With Taapsee Pannu's Powerful Performance.

Taapsee Pannu starrer Thappad has released in the theatres today and has been receiving good mouth of words from the critics and moviegoers. The film revolves around domestic violence and it has managed to create an impact on the audience. The Anubhav Sinha directorial tells a gripping storyline on a subject that has never been talked about in the mainstream cinema.

The film narrates the story of a married couple played by Taapsee Pannu and Pavail Gulati when the husband slaps his wife in a fit of rage and things take a drastic turn with Taapsee not taking the insult or the show of violence that she was subjected to.

The twitterverse has all the praise for Taapsee’s impactful performance and a powerful storyline. The first-day collection of the film is predicted to be Rs 6 crore in all India box offices. The first-day overseas collection is estimated at Rs 2.5 crores in all languages. The film also stars Pavail Gulati, Ratna Pathak Shah, Manav Kaul, Dia Mirza, Tanve Azmi and Ram Kapoor. The movie is bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar and Anubhav Sinha.
