According to the Times Of India report(2019), the Navyug Express operates from Mangalore Central to Jammu Tawi, taking 4 days to complete the journey. Along the way, it stops at 59 stations and covers a distance of 3685 km.

This weekly service, also known as the New-Era Express, is the only train in India that passes through 15 states. The train was introduced to improve connectivity between Jammu & Kashmir and the rest of the country.
