One such example is an elderly man from West Bengal, who decided to quarantine himself after he showed signs of fever. The difference here is that the man from Nabadwip in Nadia district of West Bengal, decided to undergo quarantine on a boat in the river. Shared by news agency ANI, the man can be seen sitting by himself eating food and just basking in the sunshine away from everyone else. The man had returned from a visit to his relative’s place in Habibpur and was suffering from fever. After a doctor adviced him to undergo 14 days of quarantine, he was stopped from entering the village by villagers and had to take shelter on a boat. The man has been hailed by many for what he is doing, and even though there are centres for those under quarantine, most feel that he is safest where he currently is.
