Watching a tiger jump to catch a chunk of meat has never been this satisfying. Footage from 2014 Boxing Day has resurfaced, and it is the most adrenaline-rushing video you will see on the internet. Filmed in slow motion, the video shot by Maxime Dehaye shows the graceful jump of the big cat at a nature reserve Glen Africa farm in South Africa. When the keepers threw meat at the predator, the majestic tiger leapt 10ft in mid-air to grab its food in the enclosure. The posted on Youtube has more than one million views.

A video which was shot in 2014 showed two tigers waiting inside the enclosure for the meat. The keepers from the other side of barbed wire fence threw a chunk of meat at them when the slow-motion video was shot. One of the tigers leapt to catch the meat in his mouth, and the act is purely majestic. The agile cat effortlessly leaps 10ft in the air to catch its food, using its claws and giant paws to get at the meat.

The viewers cannot help noticing, 10 ft enclosure is nothing for the tiger to jump and go outside. The filmmaker said, “If you watch closely you’ll see that the tiger actually jumps higher than the fence of the enclosure.” The 10ft leap is only a small glimpse of the big cats’ abilities – in full flight they can launch themselves up to 20ft in the air.

The impressive animals despite their huge size and weight are known for their agility. Their swiftness makes them one of the fiercest predators on the planet. This video will really make you glad that you are watching this majestic creature either on the internet or in enclosures.
