Google has come up with a new set of holiday themed doodles for us in this festive season. The second day of ‘Tis the season series has six foggy windows through which each coloured character is staring out. The second addition of this series has the moving figurines being cosy and drawing their own doodles on the foggy window panes. Each alphabet doodles over the foggy window as we often do in this chilly season. December 23 is considered the first day of the holidays, followed by the Christmas eve on December 24 and Merry Christmas on December 25. ‘Tis the season! is also an album of Christmas songs by Olivia Newton-John and Vince Gill.
This Christmas Eve doodle is designed by Gerben Steenks and represent the warm and cozy emotion of watching a snowfall from the window of our warm and comfortable house. The doodle takes us back to the days when we sat by the window, wrapped in a blanket and with a warm cocoa in our hand! The doodle has five basic sketches that we all draw to wail away time, like a heart, a star, a lightning bolt and the famous smiley face. The last window in this doodle is left untouched so we can add our own doodle in our imagination!
Google doodles have become a customary part of our traditions and this new addition fills us with warmth and joy. Last year the doodle for Christmas Eve had various versions of festive homes all covered in colourful lighting, representing the Christmas customary of decorating with lights and going Christmas light watching! This doodle was created by Robinson Wood and was inspired by paper craft models and cut outs.
