Well, it’s that time of the year again! Christmas 2016 is finally here and the third day, the big day of holidays is for us to celebrate. Google which has been wowing us with amazing cutesy doodles presents third in the series ‘Tis the season Google doodle. Search engine giant Google that never fails to leave us amazed with sheer adorableness and original animation has its six letters wishing everyone Merry Christmas 2016 worldwide subtly. Marking the Christmas celebrations, the December 25’s Google doodle is all about cute woollen knitted Christmas stockings. The start of Christmas this year is phenomenally great, and we can’t wait for images of festivities to start pouring from all over the world. Gerben Steenks designed the Day 3 Google doodle, ‘Tis the season! which brought the smile on your face. The Day 3 of the holidays season is based on the theme of Warm Climates. According to the description by the designer, the day 3 is: “‘Tis the season! During this festive time of year, there’s nothing quite like lounging around with family and friends. Here’s to a day filled with love, joy, and plenty of cheer to go around.” Indeed, a look at the doodle and your heart fills with warmth and love from family and friends. The six letters of Google are busy enjoying the leisure time. The letter ‘g’ is knitting with the help of letter ‘o’. While the second ‘g’ of the word is sipping hot chocolate coffee sitting by the fireplace, the second ‘o’ trying out the newly handmade stockings’ Letters ‘l’ and ‘e’ are unpacking the gift to find one more pair of brand new pair of woolen socks. The beautiful choice of warm colours by the designer Gerben Steenks is spot on. The Google doodle is seen in the countries like Brazil, Philippines and Thailand.
Google began the festivities with ‘Tis the season! Doodle on December 23, considered the first day of the Christmas and New Year holiday season. They started off the Christmas holidays with the popular Christmas carol song. Each of the letters in the word ‘Google’ represents a caroler while the letter ‘l’ struck the triangle. ‘Tis the season is a line from the traditional carol Deck the halls. It is also an album of Christmas songs by Olivia Newton-John and Vince Gill.
The Day 2 of the holidays season and second in series of ‘Tis the season! Doodle featured on December 24, on the Christmas Eve. Each of the letters is shown behind dark, misty window upon which they draw doodles such as stars and smiley faces. Google in their original blog posted, “Happy holidays! This is the perfect time of year to cosy up to the window with your favorite blanket or mug, and watch the snow fall. While you’re there, sketch a foggy doodle or two (or five) of your own.” We totally love the idea and final animation by Google. Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas!
