‘Tis the Season! Second Christmas Google Doodle celebrates Christmas Eve

The second Christmas Google Doodle denotes a moustachioed man dressed in red skiing suit who is dragging his suitcase on a sleigh, just like Santa Claus pulls his reindeer.

‘Tis the Season, all right! Christmas is here and so is the infectious festive air. And search engine giant Google is celebrated Christmas Eve on December 24 with their second Christmas Google Doodle for 2014. The second Christmas Google Doodle denotes a moustachioed man dressed in red skiing suit who is dragging his suitcase on a sleigh, just like Santa Claus pulls his reindeer.

Christmas Eve is celebrated by Catholic Christians across the world by decorating a Christmas tree, carol singing, presenting gifts to friends and family, and attending midnight mass. Children are given special gifts by Santa Claus who is believed to travel from the North Pole to people’s homes through the chimney, to drop off presents and sweets for children.

Google had its first Christmas doodle for 2014 on December 23, where it showed a red reindeer pulling a sled full of children on the snow. For Christmas Eve, Google has a more blue colour scheme for its Google Doodle. We can’t wait to check out the Christmas Day Google Doodle on December 25!
