Positive or negative, there are talks of just one movie – Salman Khan-starrer Tubelight. One face which has left many impressed with her act is Isha Talwar aka Maya from the period war drama. While a lot has been written about Salman Khan’s actress from China, Zhu Zhu in the film, it is 29-year-old Isha Talwar’s imposing presence in supporting cast that demands our attention. On the silver screen, she was calm and serene Maya but off it Isha boasts of a fiery and sexy personality. Her Instagram account reflects the adventurous and fun side of the gorgeous actress. Tubelight is a tearjerker and an out and out Salman Khan film with the actor excelling in the emotional department. Moving on from the superstar actor, the notable names from the cast making headlines were his real life brother and actor, Sohail Khan, late veteran actor Om Puri, child artist Matin Rey Tangu and Chinese actress Zhu Zhu. But post the film hit the theatres; another name joined in the conversation was that of Isha Talwar.
She played the role of Maya, a progressive lady working at an ashram. Isha was a kind soul who took care of Laxman Singh Bisht (Salman Khan) after his brother Bharat (Sohail Khan) left for the war and in the absence of Banne Chacha (Om Puri). She stands up against Narayan (Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub) who always bullied Laxman and spread hatred against Gu Won (Matin Rey Tangu) and his mother, Li Leing (Zhu Zhu) because he perceives them as non-Indians. Isha Talwar is beautiful in her screen time, and we would have loved to see her and Sohail Khan’s character in a possible love story.
Tubelight is Isha’s first big break in Bollywood, but the lovely girl has signed on several occasions before the release of Salman Khan starrer ambitious film. The daughter of Vinod Talwar, who works as a director and executive producer for well-known film producer Boney Kapoor made her film debut with the 2012 Malayalam film Thattathin Marayathu. You would also remember her from several advertisements, the recent one being Maggi Hotheads with Isha dressed up as cute dulhan enjoying her instant spicy noodles. Isha has also signed another movie opposite Saif Ali Khan titled Kala Kaanti. According to the TOI reports, the happy actress was quoted saying, ‘I am over the moon!’ The film, directed by Akshat Verma, writer of Delhi Belly, narrates the tale of different people in three stories. ‘I am in one of them, cast opposite Saif. We have completed ten days of shoot. I’m afraid we should wait till its official announcement to disclose more about my role or working with the team,’ she adds. Future looks bright for the young star.
