While the air on nepotism has settled a bit, filmmaker Vikram Bhatt has written an open letter to his daughter Krishna which also talks about nepotism. Vikram Bhatt talks about his struggle establishing himself has a director in the industry and thirty-five years of his career. In the post, Vikram Bhatt explains why his daughter is a product of nepotism and then says, however, success will lead way for the talented only. Bhatt writes, “There will be some who will call you a product of nepotism and run you down. Don’t try to pretend that you are not. You are the product of nepotism and that is fine. I have worked hard all my life so that you have it easier than me. If someone rues that, too bad! Screw this game of fairness. Nothing is fair. But nepotism will only give an opportunity and not success. Success depends on talent and not opportunity. Bhatt concludes his letter saying, “Lastly my love, don’t get caught up in this hall of fame business. Everything fades with time.
