India Post established two more modern and student-centric Gen-Z post offices on December 9. The two were established at CMS College, Kottayam, Kerala and Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. The designs of the new post offices are an amalgamation of creativity and technology. The initiative of Gen-Z-based post offices is important, as it’ll make the work of students and researchers more convenient.

The two modern-style Gen-Z-themed post offices have been opened at CMS College in Kottayam, Kerala. The other one is Andhra University in Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh. Initially, one was built at the campus of IIT Delhi, which now is a part of its effort to bring a modern touch to campus postals.
The new post offices in CMS College in Kottayam, Kerala and Andhra University in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, have unique modern interiors. They have great technologically enabled services, offering a relaxed environment for the youth. In Kerala, the post office space was designed by the students themselves in collaboration with India Post. It has QR-based processes and a ‘My Stamp’ printer which lets the users create personalised stamps quickly.
In a unique initiative, India Post is trying to reconnect with the youngsters of India. They aim to do so by offering postal services in a calm property that’s creative and will be liked by Gen Z. The new offices have made postal services more accessible and comfortable for the students.
