After the chaos erupted at Lionel Messi’s GOAT event in Kolkata on December 13, a video has gone viral in which the event attendees were seen thanking the Mumbai Police. The glimpses are from outside the Wankhede stadium, where the famous football superstar was welcomed. The wholesome moment is making rounds on social media, as one of the police personnel was seen smiling at the loud cheers of “thank you”. Even though the event gathered a large crowd, it didn’t interrupt the traffic functionalities in the city.
The video shows a decent crowd of fans cheering for the Mumbai Police. A large part of the excited fans was wearing blue and white-coloured Argentinian jerseys. The crowd together is heard cheering for the Mumbai Police, saying, “Thank you, thank you!”
The fans were seen appreciating the efforts of the Mumbai Police in managing the crowd and traffic of the city without any chaos. In the video, one of the police personnel is also seen smiling at the crowd.
