Chandigarh: In a bid to increase awareness regarding the coronavirus pandemic, people across the world have really gotten creative and Punjab police is one of them. On Saturday, Punjab Police released a rather fun video, to make sure that people understand the basic rules of staying safe. In the video, the Punjab police officials and constables are seen dancing to the the popular ‘Baari Barsi’ and asking everyone to “Not shake hands but do a Sat Ari Akal”.  Through song and dance, they also show how to cover the mouth while coughing and sneezing and urge people to practice social distancing. DGP Dinkar Gupta shared the video on Twitter and wrote, ”A message from the entire @PunjabPoliceInd to all. We urge all to follow the instructions. Wash your hands frequently, Stay at home and maintain Social Distance to Stay Safe. Request you all to share this video across to increase awareness amongst everyone. #PunjabFightsCorona”.

On Saturday, one more person tested positive for the novel coronavirus in Punjab taking the total number of cases in the state to 4.

Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister on Sunday issued orders for shutdown of all non-essential services and businesses with immediate effect till March 31 to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
