Noida accident: A young woman had a brush with death on a flyover in Noida when a two-wheeler she was riding was hit by an unidentified vehicle. The impact of the collision was such that the woman was thrown onto a pillar base of the elevated road following which two men rushed to her rescue but got stuck there along with woman.

Visuals of the incident shared on social media platforms showed the injured woman lying on the pillar of the flyover while two men attempt to rescue her from the dangerous predicament.

Later in the day, Noida Police said the trio had been rescued and admitted to a hospital.

According to the police, the incident took place near Noida Sector 25 under the jurisdiction of Sector 20 police station area. An official said the young woman landed on the pillar of the elevated road near Noida Sector 25 after the Scooty she was riding was rammed by an unidentified vehicle.

“The woman who landed on the pillar base of the elevated road near Noida Sector 25, after she was hit by an unidentified vehicle, has now been rescued. The two men who were attempting to rescue her have also been rescued,” police said, adding that all three have been sent to a hospital.
