WhatsApp recently added a new feature to the existing messaging application. The ‘blue ticks’ by WhatsApp denoted the notification that the message that you have sent has been read by the receiver. Those who use the app were familiar with the single, and lately there were  double ticks featured up under outgoing messages. The first shows it has been sent successfully, while the second double ticks indicated that the message had been received on the other phone. Now, the two ticks turned blue once the message has been read.But within days of adding the new blue ticks WhatsApp has decided to enable users to disable them manually via settings. Although the new version 2.11.44 is only available on the WhatsApp website right now for the Android users, but the disabling this feature will be much relief to everyone. Only available on the WhatsApp website right now the feature is expected it to reach Google Play soon. Users will have to manually download the WhatsApp 2.11.44 version from the official website. One can disable read receipts, the blue ticks via privacy option settings in the profile settings. Also, the new version will provide heads-up notifications. The same has been introduced in Android 5.0. with Lollipop Google. It enables one to set-up priority flags for their notifications. So now the new version of  WhatsApp messages will also be having the similar feature as the Android 5.0 heads-up notifications.
