The popular messaging app, WhatsApp has crashed across the globe and social media cannot keep calm about it. The Facebook-owned messaging app has been experiencing trouble in sending messages since a while. As per reports, WhatsApp has crashed globally and users across countries are experiencing the same problem. WhatsApp users in Italy, Saudi Arabia, Philippines, Germany, India, USA and Sri Lanka currently are not being able to use the app. The problem majorly came to light after it was raised on Twitter by a lot of users. Member of Parliament, Anurag Thakur was among the first people to tweet about the messaging app’s non-functionality.
WhatsApp suffered an outage around 2: 15 pm India time and was resolved at around 2: 45 pm. People are currently able to send and receive messages. WhatsApp has not yet commented on the cause of the occurrence. Hundreds of WhatsApp users have taken to Twitter to express dismay in non-functionality of the messaging app. While some said they have issues in receiving messages, many tweeted that they could not log in to their account.

This is not the first time WhatsApp is experiencing a problem like this. WhatsApp was down for several hours in May earlier this year with countries including Malaysia to Spain, Germany, and some other European countries experiencing the trouble.
