Viral video: The Member of Parliament (MP) from Kerala’s Wayanad, Priyanka Gandhi, met Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari on Thursday in the parliamentary complex. The two had discussions on six road projects passing through Kerala. Nitin Gadkari mentioned that some projects were under the state government; as a result, the central government cannot intervene. However, he assured her of looking into other projects. The video of the interaction is making the rounds on social media.

Nitin Gadkari and Priyanka Gandhi’s meeting

The Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari and the MP from Kerala’s Wayanad had a meeting on December 18. They both had discussions about the road projects in the state. Gadkari stated that some projects are under the Kerala government, and the ministry will ensure looking into other projects.

The Highway Minister mentioned Priyanka Gandhi’s brother, Rahul Gandhi and said that he had met Gandhi recently to have talks about roads in his constituency.
