Who is Sheikha Mahra?
Sheikha Mahra is the daughter of UAE Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. She is well-known in Dubai for her charity work and her love for horses and equestrian sports, according to Emirates Woman.
She completed her early education in Dubai and later moved to London, where she earned a degree in International Relations, Grazia reported. Mahra’s mother, Zoe Grigorakos, is originally from Greece and is reportedly divorced from Sheikh Mohammed.
Sheikha had made headlines when she divorced Sheikh Mana Al Maktoum, an Emirati businessman with an estimated net worth of USD 1.5 billion.
Princess Sheikha Mahra’s wealth places her in a completely different league. While exact numbers are not publicly confirmed, outlets like Wealth Overview estimate her fortune to be around USD 300 million or more.
A large part of her wealth comes from her inheritance as the only daughter of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the ruler of Dubai, whose family net worth is estimated at around USD 18 billion.
Beyond her inheritance, Mahra has also built her personal brand, launching her luxury perfume line, Mahra M1, and is known for her lavish lifestyle, making her one of the most influential young royals in Dubai.
Previous marriages of Mahra and Montana
French Montana and Sheikha Mahra are still planning their wedding and have not shared a date yet. The couple made their first public appearance at Paris Fashion Week shortly after Mahra divorced her former husband, Sheikh Mana, an Emirati businessman and royal. She and Sheikh Mana share a daughter together.
Following her divorce, Mahra was spotted showing Montana around Dubai, around the time their relationship reportedly began.
Mahra publicly accused her ex-husband of infidelity last July, posting on Instagram:
“Dear Husband, as you are occupied with other companions, I hereby declare our divorce. I divorce you, I divorce you, and I divorce you. Take care. Your ex-wife.”
The post came after weeks of speculation, fueled by an earlier photo of her with her newborn daughter and the cryptic caption, “Just the two of us.”
After the split, Mahra embraced a bold personal transformation. She even launched her own perfume line, debuting with a fragrance named “Divorce,” symbolizing a fresh start and her newfound independence.
French Montana was previously married to entrepreneur and designer Nadeen Kharbouch from 2007 to 2014. They share a 16-year-old son, Kruz Kharbouch.
Although neither Montana nor Mahra has spoken openly about their relationship, retired NBA star Paul Pierce commented on his podcast The Truth After Dark last month, praising Montana. He said,
“Man, I’m telling you, us Black men need to follow in French Montana’s steps. You see, he cracking.”
