In a shocking incident, a Brazilian woman was buried alive by mistake and was struggling to come out for eleven days. The 37-year-old named Rosangela Almeida dos Santos had rushed to a nearby hospital as she suffered from severe fatigue. Soon she was declared dead and her body was handed over to her family members. Reportedly her death certificate said that she suffered a cardiac arrest before dying from septic shock. People who are living in the vicinity of cemetery heard screams from the burial spot and they immediately alerted her family.Her family members rushed to the site, smashed the stone tomb but sadly it was too late. By the time they opened the coffin, she was already dead. A video has emerged on the internet which shows the commotion in the cemetery area as some trying to open the casket. As per reports of Metro UK, the nails of the wooden casket’s lid were pushed up and there were marks of blood and scratches on the inside. She suffered injuries as she tried to claw her way out of the coffin.As per Metro UK, one of the residents of the area, Natalina Silva told: “When I got there right in front of the tomb, I heard banging from inside it. I thought the kids who play around the cemetery were playing a joke on me. Another resident told Brazil’s Globo TV station: “There were more than 500 people who came here and packed the cemetery, everybody went to see, lots of people touched her foot and everybody saw that she was still warm. She wasn’t cold.”Even though the incident was so severe, her family members have refused to accuse doctors who treated her. Police have started investigations of the incident and they may exhume her body to find out what really happened.
