World’s Biggest Cruise Ship: When we talk about luxury cruise ships, the name that pops up in our mind is Titanic. The British ocean liner Titanic sank on 15 April 1912 after striking an iceberg. People got to know about the ship more widely from James Cameron’s superhit movie Titanic. But do you know which is the largest sea ship in the world? Well, its name is Icon of the Seas. It is five times bigger than Titanic in terms of internal volume and about 35 percent longer in terms of length.

As per several media reports, Icon of the Seas can accommodate around 5610 passengers and 2350 crew members.

Royal Caribbean International’s ‘Icon of the Sea’ has been built in the European country Finland and costed USD 2 billion. The cruise ship offers several packages with a 7-night stay. This was being awaited for a long time.

The cruise ship has all the luxury one can imagine. There are 7 pools and 9 whirlpools on it. It also has the largest waterpark, with a total of six water-slides.

If reports are to be believed, Icon of the Seas is 365 meters long and weighs an estimated 250800 tons.
