He managed secure the support of US for India’s entry into Nuclear suppliers Group and MTCR missile control regime and earned diplomatic brownie points with amazing photo ops of himself with President Barack Obama. But his visit to Doha in Qatar has been a big boost for the Indian diaspora. This was evident from how the audiences of his speech in Doha, spontaneously broke out into a chorus of ‘Mera Desh Badal Raha hai’, the same song that was released by the PM to celebrate two years of the Bharatiya Janata Party government in power.
