As Prince Harry and Meghan officially step down from Royal duties today, they bid farewell to their Sussexroyal Instagram account and its 11 million followers in a touching post. The couple, who are rumoured to be living in Malibu with 10-month-old Archie, said that although followers may not see their presence on Instagram, they would continue their charity work and promised to reconnect soon. As per the agreement with Queen Elizabeth II, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will now no longer be allowed to use the word ‘royal’ in connection with their commercial and charitable activities. From today, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will no longer use their Sussex Royal Instagram account or website as well, as they officially start their new independent life. Bidding farewell, the couple thanked followers ‘for the support, the inspiration and the shared commitment to the good in the world’ and revealed they were focusing ‘the new chapter to understand how to best contribute’.

They also used their final post to talk about the coronavirus crisis and wrote, “What’s most important right now is the health and wellbeing of everyone across the globe and finding solutions for the many issues that have presented themselves as a result of this pandemic.

Signify the end of their Royal duties, the couple signed the message with just their first names, ”Until then, please take good care of yourselves, and of one another, Harry and Meghan.”

Meanwhile, as per reports, they have hired a top executive who worked for Bill and Melinda Gates to help set up e their organisation.
