Vineeta Singh's father Tej P Singh is biophysicist and her mother holds a PhD.

Speaking of school education, Vineeta Singh completed her schooling from Delhi Public School, RK Puram in New Delhi.

After schooling in 2001, she enrolled into Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras.

Post her bachelor's in electrical engineering from IIT-M, Vineeta Singh went on to do her MBA from IIM Ahmedabad.

Before finding Sugar Cosmetics in 2015, Vineeta Singh founded two other startups that did not succeed.
