World Health Organisation recommendation for adults of less than 2000 mg/day sodium (equivalent to < 5 g/day salt).
One can use herbs and spices - basil, cumin, ginger - to add flavour instead of too much salt.
Consume more fresh, home cooked meals instead of processed food that have high sodium content.
Check labels and opt for less sodium content food.
Make homemade snacks like roasted nuts instead of eating chips, instant noodle as they are very high in sodium.
Fresh lemon juice, vinegar etc can help in enhancing tangerine flavour.
Keep hydrating yourself to flush out excessive salt content from the body. .
Gradually educe salt consumption, appreciate more natural flavours. Taste palette will take few weeks to adapt.
