Tingling & numbness in limbs: When blood vessels get damaged due to diabetes, it manifests tingling or 'pin and needles' sensation in hand or foot.

Cramps: Diabetic neuropathy causes spasms, muscle cramps and discomfort.

Foot ulcers: Severe diabetes can lead to breaking of tissues causes ulcers in the foot.

Sensitivity to touch: Due to damaged nerve areas, one may experience discomfort and get touch sensitive.

Muscle weakness: Elevated levels of blood sugar sometimes cause muscle weakness. This can be an early warning of diabetic neuropathy.

Dry skin: Diabetic rash, dry skin, patches can be warning signs of prolonged high blood sugar levels.
