Delhi assembly election 2025: schedule, counting date and other details

As per Election Commission schedule, the Delhi Assembly elections for 70 seats will be held on February 5, 2025, in a single phase.

The counting of votes is scheduled for February 8, 2025.

Delhi has 1.55 crore registered voters, with 83.49 lakh male voters and over 83 lakh female voters.

There are 13,000 polling booths across the national capital.

The main contenders in the election are the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Indian National Congress (INC).

In the 2020 elections, polling was on February 8, and votes were counted on February 11 with Aam Aadmi Party securing a victory over 62 seats, while BJP secured 8 out of 70 seats.
