IMD Issues Severe Heatwave Alert For These State; Check Full Forecast

The IMD has issued a red alert for severe heatwave for Gangetic West Bengal for three days.

The overall East India region has been warned of an orange alert for the next 3–5 days.

The IMD has also issued advisory for vulnerable individuals and stressed the necessity of preventive measures.

"Mainly, from day 5 which is from May 5, we are anticipating a slight fall in temperatures as moisture coming...", said IMD scientist said.

The IMD has predicted rainfall for Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Sikkim, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura during next 5 days

The IMD has predicted hailstorm over Sikkim on May 1.

As per IMD, Telangana, Maharashtra, and Madhya Pradesh will also experience thunderstorm activity.
