Here are some of the famous border wall across the globe.
Spanning over 13,000 miles, the Great Wall of China is the largest border wall in the world.
It is believed that over one million workers died during its construction, leading to its nickname "the longest cemetery on Earth."
The Berlin Wall was established in 1961 by East Germany to separate East and West Berlin.
The Great Wall of Gorgon in Iran also known as the "Red Snake," was built in the 5th-6th centuries during the Sasanian Dynasty.
This wall stretches approximately 124 miles across modern-day Golestan province and features nearly 40 forts in it.
Hadrian's Wall was built to defend northwestern Britain, ordered by Emperor Hadrian and completed by 15,000 soldiers in six years.
The Peace Walls were first constructed in Belfast in 1969 to separate Catholic and Protestant neighborhoods.
In 2013, the Northern Ireland government pledged to remove all Peace Walls, with the first taken down in 2016.
