Indian Premier League which is also known as IPL, is one of the most profitable franchise tournaments across the world.

Since its inception in 2008, it has collected millions of dollars. There are a few teams that have been giving a lot of money to the cash-rich league.

1. Mumbai Indians (MI) - Team that is owned by Reliance Industries (Mukesh Ambani) have gathered a total net worth of $87 million (₹652.5 Crore).

2. Chennai Super Kings (CSK) - The owner of India Cements, N. Srinivasan bought the Chennai-based franchise back in 2008 and they have collected a net worth of $81 million (₹607.5 Crore).

3. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) - One of the most popular teams in the history of the IPL, co-owned by Shah Rukh Khan, Juhi Chawla, and Jay Mehta, Kolkata Knight Riders managed to make $78.6 million (₹589.5 Crore) as of now.

4. Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) - Despite not winning the IPL as of now, RCB holds a huge fan base across the world. The Bangalore-based franchise which is owned by United Spirits (a subsidiary of Diageo), has made a net worth of $69.8 million (₹523.5 Crore).

5. Delhi Capitals (DC) - The Delhi-based franchise owned by GMR Group and JSW Group, has collected a net worth of $64.1 million (₹480.4 Crore) so far.
