Star Cluster Pismis 24: It is a star cluster in the middle of the NGC 6357 Nebula. Bright stars in the cluster emit intense ultraviolet light, heating the surrounding gas and creating a bubble in the nebula.

Protostellar Discovery (OH 339.88-1.26): This young star is located 8,900 light-years away from us in the Ara constellation. The image reveals dark dust lanes and bright stars with crisscrossing spikes of light.

Jetting Into Space: Hubble’s latest image explores the Orion Nebula, the closest massive star-forming area to Earth, about 1,300 light-years away.

Supermassive Black Hole Jet: In 2020, astronomers detected a new jet emerging from a supermassive black hole in Quasar J0742+2704. Using the Very Large Array (VLA) and other observatories, they studied the jet’s origin and its impact on the galaxy.

Seeds of a Supermassive Black Hole: This illustration features how a supermassive black hole might form from a “seed.” Three space telescopes were used to identify two possible seeds that could lead to black hole formation.

Galaxy LEDA 22057: Located 650 million light-years away in the Gemini constellation. The galaxy is famous for hosting a recently discovered supernova, SN 2024PI.

Two Lightsaber-like Streams: The image shows two streams of energised gas shooting out from the poles of a young star, resembling lightsabers.
