NASA's Wide-Field Infrared Survey Explorer has successfully captured a complete image of the Andromeda Galaxy.

This image was captured by Herschel Space Observatory. It showcases a brief view of cool lanes of star formation.

Also known as Messier 31 or M31 is the nearest galaxy to our milky way.
